Creative Writing & English Tuition : Separate Focused Lessons

We offer two separate and focused programmes to support students in mastering the key components of the Primary English syllabus:

1. Creative Writing (Paper 1)

Based on the current MOE syllabus, students will learn how to write narrative compositions using a series of three picture prompts. They can choose to use all three pictures or focus on one to develop their story.

In Creative Writing lessons, students will:

• Learn to plan and structure their stories using the 5Ws and 1H (Who, Where, When, What, Why, How)

• Explore different writing techniques, such as:

  • Flashback introductions

  • Descriptive scenery openings

  • Dialogue-based introductions

  • Moral or reflective conclusions

• Build a strong and varied vocabulary for vivid storytelling

• Receive individual guidance and in-lesson corrections to improve their writing in real-time

2. English Tuition (Paper 2 : PSLE Components)

English tuition lessons focus exclusively on the components of Paper 2, helping students strengthen their language skills and comprehension strategies.

Areas covered in English Tuition include:

• Grammar and Vocabulary

• Synthesis and Transformation

• Comprehension Cloze

• Comprehension (Open-Ended)

• Visual Text Comprehension
